Liverpool hafa staðfest að Mauricio Pellegrino muni verða þjálfari aðalliðsins á næsta tímabili. Pellegrino lék nokkra leiki fyrir Liverpool í lok ferilsins, sem voru ekki góðir (vægast sagt), en hann á að baki glæstan feril hjá Valencia og Vélez Sársfield í Argentínu auk þess sem hann lék fyrir Barcelona og Liverpool.
